Like it says in the title, the Glastonbury 2010 tickets go on sale this Sunday. If you haven’t already then you need to get some money in your bank account.
Tickets go on sale at 9AM and are available through seetickets – Make sure you tell all your friends.
Good luck getting your Glastonbury Ticket – Demand is expected to be high so make sure you get them early. If you have a friend with a 50MB internet connection then I would advise you to get round there come Sunday morning.

There is a huge focus on making 2010 a year to remember, festival orginisers are pulling out all the stops to make is a memorable occasion for all involved. Its simple, just comment here and tell us who you want to see headline at Glastonbury 2010.

Glastonbury Gallery Needs YOUR HELP
The Glastonbury Gallery needs your help. They have recently launched a gallery of festival moments from year gone by.
They desperately need pictures from the 70’s 80’s and 90’s – If anyone has got some oldies lay about in a box somewhere, then please take the time to dig them out and upload them. The organisers plan to have a huge display of all the festival pictures that get submitted.

Glastonbury 2010 – 4 Day Music Marathon
Every year since it began Glastonbury has been a 5 day event with 3 days of music and 2 days of festivities prior to the music. Festival gates open at 9am Wednesday and the music starts on the Friday.
This year however will be different from all the rest. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the music festival, Michael Eavis is giving us an extra day of music. So the music will start on Thursday instead of Friday.
He has promissed to make this years festival bigger and better than any festival from previous years. Now that they have finally got the irrigation fixed they can focus on entertainment.
The plan is to have a Headliner from each decade, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s & 00-09 playing on each night.
There has been talk that The Stone Roses might get together and play – That would make my life complete

Glastonbury 2010 Tickets go on sale Next Month
Glastonbury orginisers have announced that tickets for next years music festival will go on sale in October. Although they have not yet confirmed a specific date, Sources tell us that the first Sunday of October will likely be the release date. Sunday 4th of October looks to be the date.
Tickets for Glastonbury 2010 have also gone up AGAIN and now cost £185 – What do you think about the increase?

Oasis to Headline at Glastonbury 2010 – Doubtful
If you have not heard it already Oasis have split up. The news casts a huge cloud over the chances of Oasis headlining the 2010 music festival.
Despite this Bookies have slashed the odds for Oasis to headline at Glastonbury 2010 from 50/1 to 33/1
You can also bet on which brother will have the better solo career Liam is 9/4 while Noel is the favourite at 1/3
There has been speculation that this could be a stunt, although a source close to the brothers has said that there is a strong riff between the two brothers. Noel is said to be fed up with Liam’s lack of motivation and constant verbal abuse. That said, there is nothing stronger than the bond between two brothers and I think it will only be a matter of time before the two are back in the studio.
The First Confirmed Act for Glastonbury 2010
Last night saw the final of the RockStar Competition, the contest has been running since January this year and has seen some of the best unsigned acts battle it out infront of a panel of judges.
The John E Vistic Experience took the gold with a guaranteed place at the Glastonbury 2010 festival being the main prize. As well as playing at the festival the group will have the opportunity to spend valuable time in one of the most prestigious recording studios around, Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios.
The other two finalists Strangefruit and Daybreakers were extremely good and it would not surprise me if they too made it onto the bill at Glastonbury 2010.
WHO IS POO GIRL?
There is a nationwide hunt on at the moment to find a girl who fell head first into the long drop crappers at Leeds festival this weekend just passed.
The girl was in there for over 20 minutes, treading water in some of the most nastiest disgusting filth I don’t even want to imagine.
The girl known only as Charlotte was rescued by a team of firemen after she tried to get her bag that had fallen into the filthy mixture of effluent below.
After being decontaminated the poor girl stayed at the festival and partied like a trooper, I’ll give her some rep for that.
Merchendizers have gone wild, selling all kinds of t-shirts, flags and other crazy stuff. I managed to get my own “POO GIRL” t-shirt while i was down there. The toilet she got stuck down was only 100 yards away from our tent, and i do believe I contributed to some of that stuff she had to endure.
The girl has become a internet phenomenom and the whole world is ribbing this poor girl left right and center.
