Awfully, yes I am bitter we didn’t get tickets! But seriously trying all day both on line and over the phone there were 3 of us in different towns trying, and nothing! One finally got through on the phone at 9.15 in the evening for the person on the end of the line just trying to book our tickets onliine like everyone else! At which point during the conversation we were told they were all sold out after being talking to a sales person for 10 minutes! What a joke. Not happy but I hope you all have a great time!

well my lovleys. no problem. Had conformation within the 24 hours that they stated. and confermed my tickets. iam a glastonbury virgin, and had no probs.

You’re absoulutley right. I ended up getting roped into getting tickets for one person I know and two I have never met before. We had three computers trying to get in all at the same time. Lucky for us this little shing dig people are talking about…we had the tickets paid for and confirmed in the first hour. Not a day to waste… but really I thought a few people with their guitars sitting around the campfire wouldn’t cause much a disturbance LOL

We got 8 tickets pretty much straight away, hardly any hassle, took only about 10 minutes!

obviously so happy we got them sorted out, but feel kinda bad for those who never got any =(

But this is my first year going to glastonbury and i cant wait!

Phonelines & site were jammed constantly from 9am… usual story really. refreshing pages & listening to a busy tone… with a hangover from hell!!!
No worse than previous years I have to say (with the exception of last year which was no problem due to lack of demand!).

Luckily i had a good friend with a shit hot connection; who assisted greatly…
I’ll be there for the 40th party & i am much thankful that i have a great mate with a very good computer!

I don’t know what the answer actually is…
demand makes things pretty crappy & there will always be people who are unsuccessful. It’s not nice but we’ve all been there.

I will say one thing though; I know of many peeps who forgot to pay the rest of their money last year and lost their tickets at the end of February. There is still hope for the re-sales in March 2010!

Got our tickets by 9.10 am no problem. Had to refresh the screen a few times but it was relatively easy.

10 meg broadband might have helped…

To everyone without tickets – keep trying See tickets website regulary. I have read about a few people being able to get them here and there over the past week.

me and my friend went on at about 8.58 and they were up so we got clicking we managed to get our 8 then help other friends to get theres, so make sure you get clicking and refreshing early- mega chuffed

I started trying to get tickets at 1.30, it took about 3 hours to get them, which is to be expected when its the 40th Anniversary, I’m really sorry for people who havent got them (some of my friends included) but did you really sit there for hours on end? refreshing the page, putting details in again & again? I’m sure some people who havent been successful did, and to them I am TRULY sorry, as they deserved tickets. but I bet the majority of people who were unsuccessful didnt try hard enough, or early enough, or they didnt think the anniversary would make a lot of difference to ticket sales patterns, frankly I’m sick of hearing about it. had I not got tickets, I wouldnt have had anyone to blame but myself for not trying early enough
