9:09 am – Update

Once you reach the page that requests your registration number, your pretty much in. If you get a error, click BACK – DONT RELOAD

Just CLICK BACK and then submit the page again

9:15am – Update

Looks like Seetickets have not tested the very final stage of their payment processing. After you have got to the very last stage of the process your still getting over capacity messages.

If you click back and try to submit your data again and you get taken to this page – https://www.seetickets.com/g2010/storeData-glast.asp? – Good news

If you reach this page it means you got a ticket, but the system has not updated. You can relax.

Did you get a ticket? Leave a Comment and tell us how you think Seetickets handled it this year. Your feedback will be helpful in making improvements for future years.

its impossible to get tickets, seetickets.com has crashed..

  2. Jenny King on October 4th, 2009 9:18 am

The web site for tickets says my registration number has already been used to make a deposit. In reality I had to keep entering it and starting again with the process, because the connection kept failing. This message came up before it accepted my card details & now I cant access the tickets on line and the phone situation is hopeless. What can I do?

  3. P Buckley on October 4th, 2009 9:29 am

A few problems at 9am, but stick with it got tickets by 9.18am. Wouldn’t take credit card you have to use your debit card though

  4. joanne on October 4th, 2009 9:30 am

site won’t let people from republic of ireland get ticket due to post code…..we dont have post codes! what are we to do

  5. Dave Ellwood on October 4th, 2009 9:32 am

Excellent go Glaso tickets within 8min

  6. steffany on October 4th, 2009 9:32 am

I got my ticket first try, no problems what so ever so in my opinion the site did wonderful!

  7. Ken on October 4th, 2009 9:32 am

I’m unsure as to whether I got my tickets. There was no confirmation page but it has redirected me back to the registration page and says I have already placed my deposit. I’d be glad of a little more certainty here. Could be better to be honest. Not sure if they were prepared for this, which is surprising.

  8. HELP on October 4th, 2009 9:41 am

it wont accept my postcode? whats wrong? what do i do? is it because it is international? HELP!

  9. Harley on October 4th, 2009 9:42 am

Well we got through to the payment processing and then it bombed out and when trying again, it says the reg numbers have already been used. I reckon this means we’ve got the tickets but it’s a bit poo not to know for sure. We’ll need to bell em to check and make sure the deposits have been paid.

  10. Robert on October 4th, 2009 9:49 am

I’ve entered all details only to find the registration numbers had already been used. How come? Plus I’ve given my payments details. Ouch.

  11. Janet on October 4th, 2009 9:54 am

Hi, Just got my Glasto tickets. considering there was likely to be a huge demand – I don’t think it was too bad. I kept getting the overcapacity message, but eventually got through. The only issues I have are: that they should automate the issue of reference numbers like when you buy flights, or order from amazon. I won’t feel entirely happy until I’ve got my reference or even better, tickets in my hands. The other issue – they should have had some links to info about campervan booking spaces, I’ve never taken a campervan/caravan and don’t know if I’ve picked the right site (East or West).

Other than that – see you all there!

    Janet

  12. Paul on October 4th, 2009 9:54 am

Got in after about 10 minutes using 3 phones and 2 PCs! Had to use back button a few times on every stage of the process but other than that no problems at all.

  13. Matt on October 4th, 2009 10:05 am

I have got to the part where it says that the registration no’s have placed a deposit. Does that guarentee a ticket?

  14. Hannah on October 4th, 2009 10:09 am

I’m not sure at all. Like the above I had to click back and submit each page about 5 times over. My only concern with this is the payment procressing which I clicked back and submitted more than 5 times because of the page cannot be displayed message, does this mean my card will be charged lots of timeS? :/

  15. Paul on October 4th, 2009 10:11 am

Does anyone know which is the ‘best’ campervan site? I got East but I didn’t spot that I had a choice – I probably wouldn’t have hung around to find out anyway, but I’m interested to know what the differences are?

  16. paul hicks on October 4th, 2009 10:30 am

my m8 has registered for glasto 2010 , but he didnt see what his registration number was , now he cant get his number, what does he do now ?????

  17. Kerry on October 4th, 2009 10:33 am

I got through to payment, then it told me I had already placed an order…..seems this is a common problem! I hope I don’t miss out due to a technical glitsch or I will be having words……!

  18. Emma on October 4th, 2009 10:41 am

    YES!!!!!!!!!!
just placed deposit for 2 tickets after trying since 9am!!!! My advice to people who havent got them yet is to keep loads of tabs open and just keep trying constantly – you’ll get some then-just hang in there!!!

    Good Luck

    wwhoopppeieee

  19. Emma on October 4th, 2009 10:43 am

‘paul hicks’ yesterday i had the same problem – you just go on the glasto website and it says something like’if you dont know your number – press here’ and it takes you to see tickets then you put ur postcode in and it tells you what it is.
    Hope i helped

  20. Kerry on October 4th, 2009 10:45 am

I have just got on the order tracker on see tickets and it doesn’t have a booking against my card details…….I hope the system is just running slow and thats not actually right!!!

Had same problem as many came back saying number already paid deposit but I think this means we should be ok.
It says on Glasto site that last page was not working well but as long as you have entered reg. number you should be in

  23. colin on October 4th, 2009 10:59 am

when booking if you get a please wait your request has been submited into a que then press back and re-submit your info….

  25. paul hicks on October 4th, 2009 11:12 am

thanks emma been trying that just getting blank page , thanks anyway

  26. Helen on October 4th, 2009 11:16 am

Had same problem as others, not getting through to end just redirecting to registration page with deposit paid, but just had email confirming order. So hang in there and see you in June :0)

  27. Cliff on October 4th, 2009 11:22 am

Got all tickets within 20 mins, It was a breeze. used to take ages in days before the Jay Zed fiasco. I remember using 3 phones and 2 laptops for 4 hours at least. Well done Seetickets

  28. Richard on October 4th, 2009 11:25 am

We got our two tickets right on the stroke of 9am. Really surprised how quick we got through although we did have page crashes as others did on the reg page and the payment page. Instead of reloading though, we just kept hitting the back button and it let us click ‘submit’ again without wanting to re-enter all the details. So we’ve got to give See tickets the thumbs up this year.

  29. john on October 4th, 2009 11:35 am

I got to enter bank details then it crashed, when I went back to the reg number page to renter its said “This registration number has already placed a deposit.” PLEASE…. tell me this means job done!!!!!!

  30. ric on October 4th, 2009 11:42 am

i completed the credit card form and got message it says the reg numbers have already been used. I havn’t got an email either to confirm. does this mean ive got the ticket or not.

  31. Natasha Rowson on October 4th, 2009 11:45 am

I got my tickets around 9:07. I didnt keep clicking back I kept clicking refresh refresh and going ahead with the warning of losing data and it workes fine and ended up with the confirmation page saying my booking reference will be emailed to me. I would advise clicking refresh not back it works better and quicker with no fear of paying more than once

  32. George on October 4th, 2009 12:23 pm

Below is info from see tickets website

IMPORTANT! If your registration number appears as ‘used’ then we definitely have a booking under your registration number. It is anticipated that customers will receive their confirmation email within 3-4 hours of making a booking. So please be patient whilst waiting for this email to arrive.
Rest assured, if you are attempting to do a booking and it says your registration number is used then you have a booking.

  33. Emma on October 4th, 2009 12:37 pm

Eliot – yeh i guess u probs have.

  34. Richard on October 4th, 2009 1:00 pm

Just got confirmation email from see tickets so we’re definately going! Oh frabjous joy!

  35. Jeni on October 4th, 2009 1:05 pm

After an hour on two laptops and 3 phones managed to speak to an advisor and secure ( I hope) tickets. When I requested a booking reference he was unable to give me one? I am waiting for a conformation email!!! Won’t be able to relax until then???? see tickets should give you a reference number to track your order when purchasing by phone?

If all goes well see you there ;-)

  36. Emma on October 4th, 2009 1:08 pm

How long did it take for everyone to get their confirmation e-mails after putting their details in?

  37. Victoria on October 4th, 2009 1:18 pm

If i am unsure whether i have got tickets or not can i try again? Or will this risk me paying for 2 sets?!!

  38. E on October 4th, 2009 1:42 pm

You know when you get the page saying you have successfully done it (paid and stuff,) well how long after that is it until you will get your confirmation e-mail?

    Thanks.

  39. Sarah on October 4th, 2009 1:52 pm

I have been up since 4am, as I live in Canada, trying to get tickets, but as with others, I put in my bank details and the page crashed and then I was told that mr EEG number had already paid a deposit. I have been unable to call the customer service number from Canada, so I have no idea if we have tickets. Can any one help ?

  40. Dan on October 4th, 2009 2:05 pm

Ordered mine bout 9.30 never saw last page, and then said my reg number had already paid for a deposit, still NO EMAIL!

  41. ruby on October 4th, 2009 2:19 pm

same as dan.. i was trying from 9am took until about half past to get it and internet explorer could not display the confirmation page… reg number says i paid the deposit but its been5 hours and no email… i want this email!! :( i hopeeee i have the ticket!!

  42. Richard on October 4th, 2009 2:22 pm

The time between booking and getting confirmation email was exactly 1hour and 8 minutes.

  43. Jo King on October 4th, 2009 2:33 pm

My experience same as Ruby and Dan, had the message that the booking was made as the registration no’s had been used, no confirmation in a booking ref or anything. I know that this has got bogged down but numbers booking should have been anticipated and its just a bit slack….

  44. Rob on October 4th, 2009 2:43 pm

Same as Dan and Ruby. Put my payment details in at 9.20am, next page crashed so tried again, got message saying that I had already paid the deposit, but at 2.45pm I have still not received a confirmation email. Very, very frustrating!

  45. peeksy on October 4th, 2009 2:52 pm

i got my bank details in , then it crashed and sent me back to the begining stating error occured and deposit already paid.phoned my bank and they said no payment has been requested.the site would not take me further because the Reg.No had been used.i had a 3 hour wait then got me confirmation email.i can finally breath again.

  46. Nigel on October 4th, 2009 3:02 pm

Got a ticket booked before 10am and didnt get the confirmation page – just says as others that the code has already been used to book a deposit. Hopefully the 2 bits of the website tie up and they judge whether tickets are left based on the same system that says ive now booked one. No confirmation email yet but I have taken a screenshot of the page stating my code has been used to place a deposit.

  47. Dan on October 4th, 2009 3:02 pm

just got my email i didnt see last page or do visa verification, so anyone that is the same as me should be okay, phew….

  48. Nigel on October 4th, 2009 3:15 pm

Just checked again and its the same. There is a queueing system set up now to get to the registration entry page but it still states mine is used. Going to wait for confirmation. If the website says about 4 hours and some got it sooner and some later, I am quite hopeful tbh.

  49. Shane connolly on October 4th, 2009 3:19 pm

arrrghhh. Im at the payments page and it will only let me select to order and then times out.. i keep going back and submitting but it just wont accept my booking… been on since 8.30 this morning!

  50. Jason on October 4th, 2009 3:20 pm

Like several people on here, I got to input my card details and then bombed out of the website. Site then says “This registration number has already placed a deposit”. I didn’t get asked to input my visa verification (as the glasto site described) so I don’t think I’ve paid the deposit. George @ 12.23pm notes the See tickets info about reg no being shown as “used”. It doesn’t say “used” when I try to get back in, just the quote above.

  51. Shane connolly on October 4th, 2009 3:23 pm

    Got 1 !! yeah!

  52. Shane connolly on October 4th, 2009 3:24 pm

Does anyone know if you dont know what postcode was registered for republic of Ireland address whay should you use… a mate of mine is struggling to get his at the post code stage

  53. Tracey on October 4th, 2009 3:45 pm

My hubby and i got on See Ticket at 9:05 this morning, we put in our reg details and all bank details but when we tried to summit payment it told us the website expired and the error message said we should not retry incase we duplicate the payment but now we still havent received our email confirmation and we are sooooooooooo worried. Its been hours………

  54. Moira on October 4th, 2009 3:50 pm

I have same problems as others ie saying that my reg number has been ‘used’. Have been trying without success to get through on phone as despite other efforts I am not sure whether this means I do have ticket. Having read this site and the information from the main ticket site saying “IMPORTANT! If your registration number appears as ‘used’ then we definitely have a booking under your registration number. It is anticipated that customers will receive their confirmation email within 3-4 hours of making a booking. So please be patient whilst waiting for this email to arrive.
Rest assured, if you are attempting to do a booking and it says your registration number is used then you have a booking”

Still no email some four odd hours later!!! AAAAH what’s going on? Can anyone offer an insight?

  55. Nathan on October 4th, 2009 3:53 pm

Same problem as a lot of people. After putting in payment details page crashed now it says rego numbers have been used.
Reading the website it says if you get the “rego numbers already used” message – you have a booking.
I’m just waiting for my confirmation email to arrive now. It’s been over 4 hours – hope it arrives soon. Coming from Australia – had to back/reload pages a LOT.

  56. vicki on October 4th, 2009 4:05 pm

Took me over an hour to get through the pages and as with soo many others i am now being told “deposit on these reg numbers”!!
Can’t get to any help sections with see tickets and had no email and this was 5 hours ago !!
See tickets have really screwed up this year, was no problem like this last year and now, as with many i am sat here wondering if i have tickets.
    FLAMING RIDICULOUS

  57. Daniel Goodley on October 4th, 2009 4:12 pm

Hi, have just received confirmation email (4.10pm) this is after we had got through at 9.15 in the am!! So, wait in there

  58. Christine on October 4th, 2009 4:21 pm

Does anyone know what the cut off is today for buying tickets? I didn’t register in time and am praying they won’t sell out!

  59. E on October 4th, 2009 4:26 pm

Still no e-mail 6 hours later!!! aaahh :O

  60. Jason on October 4th, 2009 4:37 pm

Yes! My email just came through. Only about 7 hours after I booked the tickets!!

  61. clare on October 4th, 2009 4:56 pm

My computer wouldnt even get onto the form to get a ticket my my bfs laptop did and he managed to get one for me after clicking backwards many times! don’t like the wait of 24hours though for confirmation but WE don’t have much choice I guess! took 15mins or so to get a deposit down and that was a 11:30am! *big sigh of relief now*

  62. rob on October 4th, 2009 5:00 pm

i booked at 9.30 this morning. last page blanked out bur as with everyone it says we have got tickets. hopefully its a little glitch nd we havent all missed out due to incompetence

  63. Stuey Sutherland on October 4th, 2009 5:01 pm

I was in a field camping at 9am – 2 of the 3 mobiles were dead…… sister on the other end of the phone apparently got through the booking stage at about 10am after it refused my credit card…… The reference number on the booking form now says that it has already been used to book a deposit but no email………i’m gonna disown her if she has got this wrong!

Gonna be best glasto ever – 40 years and still kicking ass!

  64. Jeni on October 4th, 2009 5:06 pm

Enough already pleeeeeeeeease still not received a conformation email yet Arghhhhh! i know its hectic but please let us know

  65. Bethany on October 4th, 2009 5:09 pm

Again same problem as everyone else, who knows if i have a ticket or not! The website is so rubbish, ticket buying is seriously stressful!! Im hopeful i have one, just hang in there guys.

  66. vicki on October 4th, 2009 5:19 pm

Has any one encountered the “Deposit on these reg numbers” and received an email to say they have tickets ???????
Been trying to phone but keep getting cut off when waiting for an operator !
    boohoo
    help

  67. Charlotte on October 4th, 2009 5:25 pm

i did my booking at about half 10 and it did the stupid “you already have a booking with this registration numbers” after i put all my details and everything in.
    I still don’t have an e-mail though!!
do i have a ticket or not? :(

  68. Phillippa on October 4th, 2009 5:30 pm

Again I’m in the same boat as alot of other people ‘registration number already been used’ Still waiting for a confirmation email, the suspense is killing me, but i guess when there’s thousands of people trying to buy tickets the chances are that there will be some technical problems. Fingerscrossed, but I’ll be majorly annoyed if seetickets has messed it.

  69. vicki on October 4th, 2009 5:37 pm

If it says “used” for your reg number then you have a ticket.
I have “deposit” which i do not know the meaning of
    this is just silly

  70. mark on October 4th, 2009 5:38 pm

see tickets were useless, on the same page for three hours, still dont know for certain if i have tickets, but when i tryed to resubmitt my card details had message come up saying deposit alresdy paid for these reg numbers, but still no email over 4 hours now

  71. jaz on October 4th, 2009 5:40 pm

The time it took us to get confirmation ( from the point it said we’d already used our reg. no.s ) was 8 hours!

  72. Bethany on October 4th, 2009 5:43 pm

    IMPORTANT:
    IMPORTANT!
“If your registration number appears as ‘used’ then we definitely have a booking under your registration number. It is anticipated that customers will receive their confirmation email within 3-4 hours of making a booking. So please be patient whilst waiting for this email to arrive.
Rest assured, if you are attempting to do a booking and it says your registration number is used then you have a booking.”
Everyone, do not panic, you have a ticket.

  73. chris on October 4th, 2009 5:44 pm

got through on see tickets website around 9.30 a.m recieved confirmation email around 2 hours later. i also had the registration number already been used just hang in there

  74. Blonde Sophie on October 4th, 2009 5:48 pm

I spent most of the morning trying to get through on seetickets. Same as everyone, got through to the final page and then it went blank when it was processing my payment. The website now says my registration number has been used, however still not had my confirmation email 6 hours on. Got to be honest, they could have done a bit more to get the website working properly. It’s not like Glasto hasn’t got a history of selling out of tickets quickly or having a massive demand for them! Fingers crossed that emails comes thorugh soon as it’s all a bit stressful!

  75. Inny on October 4th, 2009 5:51 pm

I have been trying from 9am to book a Glastonbury 2010 ticket but each time I enter my registration number and postcode, the site keeps saying that my registration number or postcode is not found on the database, which is really frustrating me! I’ve even copied and pasted my registration number directly from my confirmation email, but still no luck.

I’ve tried retrieve my registration details but the site crashes each time I enter my details in. I’ve also tried the helpline, of which I cannot get through.

Does anyone know what I can do?

  76. vicki on October 4th, 2009 6:00 pm

This is hopeless. Me and a friend have been on the website since 9am and not got anywhere. Have been in a queue for 4hrs at one point and then it failed. Error msg after error msg. Still got no tickets.
At what point do we stop trying? surely they will soon be sold out?

Website absolutely hopeless!!! Really disappointed…would have thought they would have prepared for this! Clearly not!

  77. laura on October 4th, 2009 6:21 pm

same problem as most others – put in debit card details then page wouldn’t refresh. went back and it said my reg number had already been used. still havn’t had an email and it’s been 9 hours! i reaaaaallllly hope i have a ticket, this is my first festival and i badly want to go!

  78. darren on October 4th, 2009 6:42 pm

    Hi everyone
Had the same problems as most of you, being sent backwards after entering payment detail, but have just received email confirming we have tickets, so i guess thats the thing to look out for, watch your email, friend also being told her ref number doesnt exist !

  79. John on October 4th, 2009 7:05 pm

    Hi everyone

Had the same problem as most, brought my ticket at 9.20 today took around 20 mins however then crashed after I submited for payment,

After that I got the message that “deposit taken” then 9 Hours late rec’d e0mail from SEE to advise that I had tickets

    Happy days

  80. Margaret on October 4th, 2009 7:15 pm

like everyone else, we have been trying to get tickets since 9am, and took about 3 hours to get to payment stage. site crashed after inputting bank details, so unsure whether details gone through, but when we got the chance to input again, said already used. have rung the bank and they cannot confirm any request for payment. this is a really bad set up. It was obvious how busy the site would be, but obviously not prepared….hope my e mail comes through soon

  81. Jeni on October 4th, 2009 7:18 pm

After 10 hours still no email only the word of the operator that i was successful…. very disapointed as have tried to ring but keep getting cut off before speaking to anyone? :-(
Surely they would have expected a great demand?

  82. Andy T on October 4th, 2009 7:21 pm

I am in the sane boat as most people, I get the “this registration has already placed a deposit” whare as other people are getting “some used message”, is the difference full payment vs deposit, has anyone got the confirmation after the “deposit msg” thanks.

  83. Stuey Sutherland on October 4th, 2009 7:25 pm

where are people getting the message that the number is used or deposit taken etc etc

I get a message in red and an error message at the top???

is that the same thing as others???

no email still……. no sleep till it does!

  84. Dan on October 4th, 2009 7:29 pm

Just to put people’s mind at ease – we only got confirmation email at 5pm and checked with bank who had no details of transaction, so would remain positive – if you are getting the message that the reg numbers are ‘used’ then you have the tickets

  85. Rick on October 4th, 2009 7:41 pm

I tried to buy a ticket at around midday. Not sure if it was successful but got the ‘used’ error.
I have rung Seetickets and they are having server problems. They are taking details (on scraps of paper to call everyone back tomorrow).
As staff don’t have an internal system, they are using the normal website to book tickets. The girl I spoke to started at 2pm and hasn’t successfully booked one ticket in that time.
    WHERE ARE YOU, CONFIRMATION?

oh dear, oh dear. A day of frustration. 10 hours after I think I may have got a ticket i still really don’t know. Can’t even get into seetickets to try again and see if i get the hopeful ‘you registration number has already been used’ message.
If today had taken them by surprise then I would forgive them, but surely they must have expected a huge number of hits to their site today.
    fingers crossed…

  87. Jodie on October 4th, 2009 7:48 pm

Been trying all day but keep getting error message saying “One or more of the Registration Numbers / Postcodes you have entered are either invalid or cannot be found, please check them and try again” but def correct reg number which was sent via email, any advice???

  88. EmmaLou on October 4th, 2009 7:52 pm

Ugh, seetickets has been utterly rediculous this year. Got the ‘ref number already used for deposit’ like so many at around 12, still no email! I will be seriously unamused if seetickets has bummed this up for so many! Love glasto so much!

  89. Tracy on October 4th, 2009 8:10 pm

Tried over 6 hours with site crashing at every stage. Eventually entered payment details and site crashed again. Tried to start over, said my registration numbers have been used. No confirmation if I have a ticket. Telephone lines busy or also crash when waiting in a queue. Awful service.

  90. Andy on October 4th, 2009 8:14 pm

Right, just got my confirmation e-mail after waiting for 10 hours !!!! I had the same problems as everyone else – I did get to the final screen, however. When I tried to input any of the registration numbers it said “This registration number has already placed a deposit”. Moral of the story: keep waiting, don’t panic, it’s not likely you won’t have a ticket if the site isn’t letting you use your reg no. for a second time.

  91. sally on October 4th, 2009 8:19 pm

this is so bad, queued for absolutely ages, got to the payment stage then it said website error, and have been queueing again ever since. so have no idea if i have a ticket or not.

  92. Sarah on October 4th, 2009 9:03 pm

Just got through to the seetickets call centre after trying for 12 hours! The website crashed just after I input my card details, had the error message “Deposit has already been paid” when I tried to buy tickets again online. Seetickets said that I should still have the tickets but they are investigating individual cases by tomorrow, so call in and give your details. I feel marginally better about my chances!

  93. E on October 4th, 2009 9:03 pm

E-mail stil hasnt come over 10 hours later!!

  94. Emma on October 4th, 2009 9:07 pm

I have been calling seetickets all day and get the message “please hold the line and we will connect you to an agent” but I just get cut off after about 30 seconds :(

  95. vicki on October 4th, 2009 9:14 pm

    Me too,
Tried all day via the net and phoning and just getting no where.
    No email over 10hrs later.
This has gotta be the worst booking service ever !!
Did manage to get a message saying less than 50% of emails have been sent out.
    What a mess

  96. Emma on October 4th, 2009 9:18 pm

    I want the e-mail :( :(

  97. Emma on October 4th, 2009 9:21 pm

I just wanna get thru to bloody book :(

  98. ruby on October 4th, 2009 9:23 pm

  99. luke on October 4th, 2009 9:24 pm

i got up to the “50% of emails have been sent out…” bit, but idk whats happening now :/ this is awful…

  100. Jodie on October 4th, 2009 9:25 pm

After trying 12 hours, tickets are now sold out. All because they messed up my reg number, not happy!!!!!

  101. Emma on October 4th, 2009 9:26 pm

    Are they really sold out?!?!?!

  102. Murphy on October 4th, 2009 9:35 pm

What a complete JOKE!!! I have been trying since 9am and now it is sold out! I put my registration details in 5 times throughout the day but couldn’t get to the page to pay as it kept throwing me out!

    Well done Seetickets!!!!!!!!

  103. hannah daly on October 4th, 2009 9:36 pm

Been trying all day. got through by trying one last time by chance. only to get to the end to see they have sold out!!! gutted!!! :-(

  104. vicki on October 4th, 2009 9:39 pm

Seems nothing on see tickets is working
even tried to find reg number of booking through retrive your details
No matter what i try it’s not getting me any where

  105. Emma on October 4th, 2009 9:45 pm

    Pile of pooh!

  106. Emma on October 4th, 2009 9:45 pm

Are any more tickets gunna go on sale??

  107. Emma on October 4th, 2009 9:46 pm

Yeh Emma, I think normally they pop a few more on sale in January/February by people who havent paid deposit or dont want them.

  108. Emma on October 4th, 2009 9:50 pm

This has been a joke, I tried all day :(

    Fingers crossed for Jan/Feb then..

  109. G on October 4th, 2009 9:52 pm

Just spoke to a guy at See tickets – He said if you get message “Deposit already paid against registration number” when you try to go through again then you should be O.K. and confirmation e-mails will be out within 24 hours.

  110. G on October 4th, 2009 9:52 pm

All tickets are now sold out!!!

  111. G on October 4th, 2009 10:03 pm

I just got my confirmation e-mail after payment page crashing and “deposit already paid against registration number” message when you retry…..so hold otu hope and good luck!

  112. bjohn on October 4th, 2009 10:10 pm

Amazing PR for See Tickets – their servers can’t handle it

  113. sabio from ni on October 4th, 2009 10:15 pm

  114. G R S on October 4th, 2009 10:27 pm

Got tickets at like 13:00…haven’t got a confirmation email yet. Even though I’ve paid the deposit, are my tickets still not for definite? So confused!

  115. garydubh on October 4th, 2009 11:00 pm

Joanne – we do have postcodes in Ireland – use the one you get at irishpostcodes.ie

  116. justine on October 4th, 2009 11:03 pm

    boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  117. Ann on October 4th, 2009 11:32 pm

Had difficulty getting access initially, repeatedly got web page not available for seetickets.com. Also rang see tickets continuously but it was engaged or unavailable. Eventually got through via the web page and confirmation that I had an order, still waiting for email confirmation, but copy and pasted the details they displayed on their web page, so will wait and see what happens in the next 24 hours. Did not think this site was very professional or capable of dealing with such a
    task

  118. K-Dawg on October 4th, 2009 11:37 pm

Bought my ticket at lik 11 dis mornin..wit a few times havin to refresh the page but things went alrite in the end! Haven’t received a confirmation e-mail yet though…

  119. Joskov on October 4th, 2009 11:53 pm

Spent the whole day since 9 this morning trying to get onto this sh*t website. Crashed at every turn. Eventually spoke to someone at sh*ttickets and was advised not to worry as they were “not selling as well as expected”. Half an hour later they were sold out and all because they messed up on the registration details. Someone should swing for this. Not good enough in the 21st century.

  120. Jon on October 5th, 2009 2:51 am

I got confirmation on the website that I had successfully put a deposit down at like 10AM (UK time) – still no confirmation email though! It’s about 15 hours later!

I’m ordering from Australia though so maybe they have some delays with foreign orders? Who knows, fingers crossed. My credit-card balance has not been debited either… getting somewhat worried!

  121. Emma on October 5th, 2009 6:43 am

E-mail came at 2 this morning.

  122. vincent webb on October 5th, 2009 7:29 am

12 hours trying to get my registration number from see tickets, no registration number no ticket, absolutely gutted, absolute joke.

  123. James Howells on October 5th, 2009 8:22 am

Same as countless posts on here – got all the way to the bank details and when submitted the site crashed, around lunchtime – spent all day trying to re-do it, finally got through to the “enter your reg number section about 9pm last night, and the “your number has already placed a deposit” msg came up. Spent all night wondering if I did or did not get a ticket – GOOD NEWS CHECKED EMAIL THIS MORNING at 7:55am. so there is hope,

  124. GJ21 on October 5th, 2009 9:06 am

Thought I had tickets, then screen just went blank, refreshed the page about 4 times, then came up that I had got tickets……but as of 9am this morning no confirmation on e mail that I have got them.

  125. RA on October 5th, 2009 9:08 am

Spent all day trying, even phone operators couldn’t get tickets off system. Submitted all card details to the system but got cut off again… but registration numbers are confirmed as used but got no email confirmation yet. Phone lines not working today just cut you off after listening to recorded message costing 6p a minute! Nick Blackburn and his team need to get out of bed and smell the coffee. Update the systems with some of the £750K plus they will earn!

  126. Anne on October 5th, 2009 9:11 am

Absolute nightmare trying to buy tickets on that site … they should have made sure there was extra bandwidth to cope with the demand.
I was lucky enough to finally get a confirmation email this morning but sympathise with those who went through that fiasco yesterday only to not get a ticket.
To have a site go down on you after you have entered card details is not on!!

I’m sure there will be tickets that will go back on sale come February.. when people discover their friends didn’t get a ticket there’ll be a percentage who won’t or can’t go.

  127. Anne on October 5th, 2009 9:32 am

From reading all the above comments it looks like none of us even saw the confirmation page that should come up after submitting the order with card details.
How many were left trying again and again to get back on the site to check if the reg number came up as “used” and so still putting a strain on the servers!
With no confirmation emails people will have been accessing the site over and over to try and find some information or update on what was happening … and who could blame them! The message on the site was that emails would take 3 to 4 hours max! ..after 12 hours most had still heard nothing!

  128. L.G. Bakker on October 5th, 2009 9:32 am

    Dear reader,

Your organisation did a good job. Selling so many tickets in a short time! I was sitting in front of my computer at 10.00 am in the morning Duych time. The first 10 minutes I could not get through. After that I was lucky to get my tickets.
In the tension however I forget to make a car reservation, also for the camping facilities.
Can somebody please let me know how I can solve that problem,

    Many thanks, allready,

Luud Bakker (Ticket order Confirmation 23873197)

  129. YOLANDE SANDERSON on October 5th, 2009 10:00 am

Total nightmare trying to get through, it kept telling me my daughters registration number was invalid, I have 2 emails stating the registration number so something has gone wrong somewhere. Took almost 5 hours of constant trying to get through on the website, nept having to refresh the page when I finally got through, it never took me to the 3d secure payment page so I was unsure whether or not I had managed to get the tickets. was trying to get through on the phones until 10.40pm, no luck, when i did get the ring tone, followed by message saying i was in a queue, it then cut me off. I have now had email confirmation that I have a ticket, but havent managed to get my daughter one as couldnt get through to speak to anyone re the invalid registration number…. now what?????

  130. amy on October 5th, 2009 11:11 am

similar problems….registration numbers not recognised despite having been last year and registered before….could not get through at all to phone lines…either engaged or cutting off since 11am…..

not good enough. missed out because of poor service.

  131. Eve on October 5th, 2009 1:16 pm

What a nightmare….started at 9am trying to get through on the website which kept taking half my details and then wiping them out or saying registration numbers were incorect when they weren’t. My booking was in a queue for 2 hours and then the whole lot got wiped. The phone line said I was in a queue and then cut me off 8 times!! Eventually got through on the phone at 7pm and the girl at the other end was using the same website as me! Thankfully she rang back at 8pm to say our tickets were booked. Totally stressful day and didn’t go out once. Seetickets should have had this sorted way before Sunday.

  132. Eve on October 5th, 2009 1:22 pm

Just got my confirmation after booking last night….can’t believe so many people let down after registering in good time.

  133. GJ21 on October 5th, 2009 1:35 pm

Just got my confirmation through, tickets bought about 10am, yesterday morning.

Really happy that I have secured my place, sorry to those who missed out, but 400,000 registered and only 165,000 tickets over half are going to be unlucky.

Just hope touts don’t get any.

  134. Nigel on October 5th, 2009 1:53 pm

My wife and I had 4 telephones going from 9:00am until 4:40pm when we finally got through, I then waited in a queue for a futher 15mins and the booking process took another 15mins.

Got my confirmation email at 12:16 this afternoon, to say I was getting a tad p***ed off yesterday is an understatement, but worth it now.

Sorry to those who didn’t get tickets but I’m feeling a bit smug at the moment. LOL

  135. Barbara on October 5th, 2009 2:10 pm

Sat online from 10.00 am til 9.00pm – got to queue so many times – asked to put in reg. no’s again so many times – finally gave up. Back on again this morning at 9.00 – SOLD OUT.

Words fail me – so so so unhappy :( ((

  136. Jane Travill on October 5th, 2009 2:49 pm

Got my tickets in 35 mins which is the fastest time it has ever taken me to get them.
Sorry to everyone that did not get one I do know how you feel, one year I was on line for 24hrs and still did not get one so I did every comp that was going and managed to win 2 free tickets so this message goes out to everyone that did not get tickets keep an eye out for the comps they do come up trumps.
Have been going to glasto for 14 years now and it is getting harder to get a ticket but if ya believe in yaself you will get one.
    Good Luck X
