I don't know but we were told several years ago that our AC was not compatable with installing a heat strip. We have the Dometic Duo-therm.

Description:Although in some instances you'll have to watch amps - but that's true of anything you are running off a power post. The screw at the back of the unit bottom in picture is covered with a small plug and this has to be pried off using the awl or other small thin blade. Mine is plastic, therefore I was told by Dometic NOT to install the heat strip as it would melt the plastic and could cause a fire. I wouldn't have given it up! But, if for some reason I were going to be stationary in cold weather, I'd buy one of the radiators and then give it away or sell it before leaving. This is the unit with the grill and filter removed and the location of the retaining screws indicated. The heater element is attached to the metal plate with 2 sheet metal screws in holes already drilled in the plate.
