			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After a huge uproar from festival goers concerning the recent announcement from Melvin Benn to <a href="http://www.glastonbury2010.info/is-glastonbury-going-to-ban-flags/">ban flags at Glastonbury</a> Michael Eavis has told NME that he wont be supporting such a ban and that Glastonbury goers are free to bring their flags and fly them with pride.</p>
<p>Recently the management team at Reading &amp; Leeds festival announced that they would be banning flags at this years event &#8211; set to go off this weekend, it was also confirmed that Melvin Benn had tried to get Glastonbury to tow the line in a bid to gain support for the initial decision to ban flags at Reading &amp; Leeds.</p>
